PI LIVE Europe & CreatorFest Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

PI LIVE Europe and CreatorFest are built on collaboration, respect, and learning. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all participants – regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, age, or background.

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved in our events: attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, staff, and contractors.

Expected Behaviour

We ask that everyone:

  • Treat others with respect and professionalism
  • Communicate in a way that is appropriate for a diverse, professional audience
  • Help create an environment that is welcoming, collaborative, and enjoyable

Unacceptable Behaviour

We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct of any kind. Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Verbal or written comments that are discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, or threatening
  • Sexual or offensive images, jokes, or behaviour
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwanted contact
  • Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention
  • Disruption of talks, sessions, or networking activities

Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behaviour is expected to comply immediately. The organisers reserve the right to remove individuals from the event without refund and to prohibit future attendance. Serious incidents may be referred to venue security or relevant authorities.

If You Need Help

If you experience or witness harassment, or have any concerns, please contact the organisers via the registration desk or speak to a member of event security. All concerns will be taken seriously and addressed promptly.

Substance Use

  • The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited
  • Alcohol may be consumed responsibly in designated areas by those of legal drinking age
  • Anyone acting irresponsibly due to alcohol or substance use may be removed from the event

Outboarding & Suitcasing

Outboarding

Outboarding refers to unsanctioned events, meetings, or hospitality that coincide with or compete against official PI LIVE Europe or CreatorFest programming, and which seek to benefit from the audience our events attract.

  • All outboarding activities must be approved in advance by the organisers
  • Peripheral gatherings are welcome, provided they enhance the overall experience and do not clash with official sessions or networking events
  • Invitations that conflict with official programming should not be issued

Suitcasing

Suitcasing refers to marketing or selling outside of approved, contracted spaces. Examples include:

  • Soliciting business in aisles, public spaces, or another exhibitor’s booth
  • Distributing promotional materials without approval
  • Using official event hashtags or branding to promote an unsanctioned activity

Any attendee, exhibitor, or partner engaging in outboarding or suitcasing may be removed from the event and excluded from future participation, including speaking or sponsorship opportunities.

Our Thanks

By following this Code of Conduct, we can ensure PI LIVE Europe and CreatorFest remain safe, respectful, and valuable events for everyone involved.
